In to Out Swing publishes educational golf content that connects swing-path language with explicit references: target line, club path, face angle, face to path, strike and intended shot. Our goal is to help a reader understand what a term or number means before applying a practice cue.
2. Topic selection and page ownership
Topics are organized by search intent rather than by repeating every keyword variation. One canonical page owns each distinct question in the topical map. Closely related spelling variants and synonyms support that page. A separate article is created only when the reader’s task, inputs and useful answer are materially different.
The homepage explains the core entity and relationships. Guides cover comparison, learning, measurement and troubleshooting. Field notes isolate smaller concepts that support a guide without duplicating its entire answer.
3. Sources
We prefer primary or first-party technical definitions when available, including documentation from established launch-monitor providers and instruction resources that clearly identify the relevant measurement. Sources are linked near the page’s method or supporting reading. We distinguish a source’s definition from our own worked example and do not imply that a cited organization endorses In to Out Swing.
Search demand and keyword files guide information architecture; they do not establish factual truth. We do not manufacture search volume, credentials, reviews or research findings.
4. Calculator design
Every calculator should state its inputs, units, accepted range, formula or interpretation, and practical limitation. Worked examples are tested against the published arithmetic. Invalid, empty and impossible combinations are rejected where the model has a clear constraint. Outputs that summarize observations are labeled as summaries, not diagnoses.
When quantities have different units or meanings, we keep them separate instead of inventing a combined score. For example, horizontal club path does not calculate low point, and strike distance from center does not supply a complete gear-effect correction.
5. Diagrams and accessibility
Visuals support the nearby heading and update when their inputs change. Exact outputs remain available as text so a reader does not have to infer values from an illustration. Diagrams include accessible names or descriptions, controls have labels, keyboard use is supported, and reduced-motion preferences are respected.
6. Authorship and review status
Content is published under In to Out Swing Editorial, the site’s publishing identity. Research and software tools may assist with organizing source material, drafting, translation, calculation checks and technical validation. Publication under this name does not claim that a PGA professional, biomechanist, medical professional or equipment engineer wrote or independently reviewed the page.
If qualified independent review is added, the reviewer’s real name, relevant role and scope of review will be stated. We do not create fictional biographies or credentials.
7. Translations
The English homepage is the editorial source. Other homepage languages are machine-assisted translations with selected golf terminology reviewed for consistency. They have not received complete native-speaker golf-editor review. Supporting guides and blog articles are currently English. This limitation is stated beside the multilingual tool directory rather than hidden from users.
8. Safety and claims
Practice suggestions are framed as experiments with feedback rather than guaranteed corrections. Pages avoid universal ideal path numbers and exact offline predictions from incomplete inputs. Physical activities include proportionate safety reminders, and pain or injury questions are directed to an appropriately qualified professional.
9. Independence, advertising and affiliate content
In to Out Swing is independent of the organizations it cites. The site does not currently display ads or use affiliate links. Future advertising will be visually distinguishable from editorial content and will not be labeled as navigation, a calculator result or a recommended resource. Sponsored or affiliate material, if introduced, will be clearly disclosed where the commercial relationship can affect a reader’s decision.
Advertisers will not be offered control over calculator results, factual conclusions or corrections. We will not ask users to click ads or place advertising in a way that could be confused with a control or download.
10. Corrections and updates
We review reproducible calculation errors, broken links, unclear assumptions and material factual issues. Minor spelling or formatting corrections may be made without a separate notice. A material change should update the page’s modification date or explanatory wording where appropriate. Publication dates are not changed merely to make old content appear new.
